00:03:37 Erika ⚡ Brazen Babes Design: I love the data and research but feel like I don’t fully understand it
00:07:38 Cory Peterson: Yes I have all those questions 🙂
00:10:41 Cory Peterson: Yes that!
00:13:15 Erika ⚡ Brazen Babes Design: Do you have a favorite tool
00:13:15 Janet Hoover: Not that’s good!
00:13:55 Cory Peterson: How to know how specific to go with keyword – why not birthday in a box? Do people really type in all those words in your examnple?
00:15:44 Erika ⚡ Brazen Babes Design: On my google analytics, I rank for terms that I don’t have tagged as keywords…. Should I be tagging these in my pages?
00:17:14 Janet Hoover: But those terms need to be on the page, correct?
00:23:40 LaShae: Does google search console play into seo?
00:24:33 Lisa Doiron: Do you recommend using Yoast as a plugin?
00:24:40 Erika ⚡ Brazen Babes Design: I currently collect testimonials through my CRM, should I be asking for them on Google as well?
00:24:48 Megan Harrington: If we don’t want to do a lot of SEO for our clients. What are your 5 basic go to items you would recommend we do before handing over a website? Items that are impactful but easy?
00:25:19 Janet Hoover: Heck yes, Erika!
00:25:21 LaShae: That makes sense.
00:25:42 Emily Judkins: what plug-ins would you suggest for a site that doesn’t have a blog?
00:25:50 Janet Hoover: Do you use Yoast or SEOPress?
00:27:03 Erika ⚡ Brazen Babes Design: I’ve liked RankMath the most so far
00:28:27 Erika ⚡ Brazen Babes Design: Do you follow a minimum word count for all pages?
00:33:32 Megan Harrington: Thank You!
00:34:22 Lisa Doiron: So if you do all those things listed, would you tell them you do “basic SEO”?
00:34:47 Emily Judkins: Should all the pictures/images be named something other than the number code or the random thing it downloads as?
00:36:14 Nikki Bartholomew: I am the queen of review searching LOL If you don’t have 4 or more… I am NOT interested 😛
00:37:57 Janet Hoover: This helps me think about my packages, because I set up “basic” SEO for each site (ha!) see, but the more I learn…the more my “basics” list grows too. It’s become a monster lol! So, I can give myself a break and not do so much in lower package, I’m already doing a few basic GDPR, schema, sitemaps, cookies, h1’s and a ton more. It’s time consuming!
00:38:44 Trish Bovell: @Janet – I agree
00:38:44 Janet Hoover: hreflang xml sitemaps…🤯 is there a more of an auto-generated option (like a “Normal” sitemap). I just had did one for a client. Not something I want to do again lol, but I do want to work with more expats
00:38:52 Shannon Mattern: YES Janet!
00:40:33 Megan Harrington: This might be super basic but Alt Text, Meta Description, Image Title. How should they all be utilized? Also is Alt Text & Meta Description the same?
00:40:47 Janet Hoover: What are the “basics” for accessibility? (sorry to be a question hog! 🙂
00:41:07 Lori Reeves: Janet, I did a training on website accessibility and the recording is in the WDA portal
00:41:28 Erika ⚡ Brazen Babes Design: I hate to double post but : Do you follow a minimum word count for all pages?
00:42:55 Janet Hoover: So I can’t hire you to do hreflang ? ha! 🙂
00:45:00 Megan Harrington: Thank you!
00:45:02 Janet Hoover: Cool, thank Lori!
00:45:08 Lori Reeves: You’re welcome!
